More Money for You Service Support Worker

  • Working from one of the Age Cymru Dyfed' offices, as well as home based, travel throughout the three counties is essential.
  • Salary: DP1 (1) £21,195 FTE - £8,478 Actual
  • Hours: 14hrs per week (2 days)

We are looking for a support worker to be a key part in the delivery of the More
Money for You service for older people within the counties of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. The aim of this service is to support people 50+ to ensure they are receiving all benefits they are entitled to. As part of the Information and Advice team you will provide support with admin, following up calls and confirming benefit awards.

Bereavement Support Officer

  • Location: working from one of the Age Cymru Dyfed offices, as well as home based, travel throughout the three counties essential
  • Salary: DP2 (1) £23,050 FTE - £13,829 Actual
  • Hours: 21hrs per week

We are looking to recruit a Support Officer for our Bereavement Support project. The project aims to fill a significant service gap by offering practical advice, help, and emotional support for people over 70 in rural Wales. It seeks to expand capacity in bereavement services and provide targeted interventions for this vulnerable group.

Dementia Wellbeing Connector Carmarthenshire


Salary: DP3(1)- £24 ,700 FTE – (£14,820 - £24,700 Actual)
Hours: 21- 35 hours per week.
Place of Work: Hybrid model from home and Llanelli or Carmarthen office.
Travel throughout Carmarthenshire to client homes.
Contract: 12 month contract with the possibility of extension, subject to funding.
We are looking to recruit a self-motivated, enthusiastic, hard-working team member to join our exciting new service that will support people living with Dementia (PLWD) and their carers. The service aims to provide a full wrap-around support that will assist the PLWD in navigating their individual journey and increase their overall wellbeing as much as possible.
