Seeking Volunteers in Aberystwyth

Volunteers are needed to join Age Cymru Dyfed's Team to support staff in our Aberystwyth office.

A warm welcome awaits you whether you are experienced working in a busy office environment and would like to share your skills with us or you are just starting out and as a volunteer and you want to gain a range of skills and experience, to develop your CV and learn skills that will boost your job prospects. Skills include: IT and administrative skills, increased confidence, teamwork and problem solving.

Help to keep a small charity organised and running smoothly by:

Answering the telephone and directing calls as appropriate
Photocopying/Scanning documents
Updating community information

The skills you will need:

Ability to communicate with people at all levels.
Ability to work independently and ask for clarification when needed.
Good time management skills.
Strong team player.
To show professionalism at all levels and in all environments.

All volunteers will be asked to complete a volunteer application form, provide two references and complete a DBS check (disclosure and barring scheme check).
