Carers Event at Theatr Botanica!

Carmarthenshire Carers Forum County Wide Event - "Stay Warm, Stay Well and Save Energy" at Theatr Botanica, National Botanical Gardens of Wales, 25 January 2024

Age Cymru Dyfed will be at the Carers Forum county wide event which is scheduled to be held on 25 January, between 10am and 3pm.

Our theme for the event is Stay Warm, Stay Well and Save Energy and we will be providing all attendees with warm packs (worth £25) from funding provided by the National Grid Electricity Distribution and Community Matters Fund.

The agenda:

• 10am Refreshments
• 10.30am Introduction and keep warm exercises delivered by the NHS
• 11.30am Informal time for carers to chat with other carers and visit information stands.
• 12.30 Buffet style lunch
• 1.30 Guest Speaker - Joanna Jones Interim Head of Integrated Services including a Q and A session.
• 2.30 Raffle and Close

Organisations attending include Age Cymru Dyfed, Adferiad Carmarthenshire Carers Information Service, Care and Repair Carmarthenshire, Carers Support West Wales, The Hiv , Llais Cymru, NHS, Threshold DAS.

The event at Theatr Botanica has disabled access. There is free parking and access for attendees to the conference areas is via the trade entrance (not the main entrance, but situated around the back of the gardens).
