Thanks to former trustees Mark Williams and Anthony Mattick
Age Cymru Dyfed would like to thank former trustees Mark Williams and Anthony Mattick for their contribution to the charity over the years. Both members recently stepped down from their role and their work has been greatly appreciated.
Chair of Trustees at Age Cymru Dyfed, Peter Hamilton said;
"The contribution made to the success of the charity over recent years has been down to the dedication of the Trustee Board and staff working as one team. Both Anthony and Mark gave up much of their valuable time to participate and guide the future direction of Age Cymru Dyfed and we thank them for their contributions and wish them all the best."
Mark Williams is former Member of Parliament for Ceredigion with a long history of campaigning for older people as an MP. He chairs North Ceredigion Forum for Older Peoples Care and is President of the South West Wales Royal British Legion. He is also Deputy Headteacher of a village school, lives in Borth with his family and is involved in a range of local charities and voluntary groups.
Anthony Mattick lives in Saundersfoot and spent 26 years in Dyfed-Powys Police, performing various roles, the majority relating to Serious Crimes. He has been a member of Round Table, 41 Club, Community Council, trustee roles and sits on several committees helping to organise charity events including The New Year’s Day Swim, Ten Foot Swim and Quizzes. To date, Anthony has helped to organise/taken part in a number of charity treks and cycle rides and to date has visited France, Peru, Nepal and Cuba raising money for cancer charities.
