Full Activities Schedule
We provide a wide variety of free activities from Monday to Friday at Scratchley Hall. Our friendly team of staff and volunteers runs our groups.
Our activities include games, reading groups, knitting and crocheting, gardening and more.

Partner Events
Age UK collaborates with a diverse range of organisations to offer comprehensive IT support, engaging musical programmes, and various additional services tailored to our clients' unique needs. By leveraging these partnerships, we aim to enhance the overall well-being and quality of life for those we serve.
Games and Chat
The Age UK Game & Chat Service is a fun and interactive initiative designed to help older people stay socially connected while enjoying their favorite games. Through this service, Age UK provides a welcoming space for older adults to engage in friendly online or in-person games—such as quizzes, board games, and card games—while having meaningful conversations with volunteers and peers.
Exercise Class and Healthsmart Schedule
Our Healthsmart team runs weekly hubs at various locations across Croydon borough. We provide exercise sessions and health & wellbeing talks. Additionally, we offer basic health assessments, including BMI checks, blood pressure monitoring, and diabetes screening.

Love to Knit and Crochet
The Age UK Knitting & Chatting Service is a warm and welcoming initiative that brings older people together to share their love of knitting while enjoying friendly conversation. Whether participants are experienced knitters or just starting out, this service provides a relaxed and inclusive space to knit, chat, and connect with others.
Memory Tree Café
The Memory Tree Café is a friendly and inclusive space designed for people living with dementia and their carers to come together, socialize, and enjoy a warm, supportive environment. This welcoming café offers a relaxed setting where guests can connect with others who share similar experiences, helping to reduce isolation and build a sense of community.
