BollyFun at Age UK Croydon

Age UK Croydon have been hosting Apsara Arts who ran a BollyFun Bollywood dance class for our clients from April until July. Organised to encourage Asian women to exercise while being open to everyone, both Apsara Arts and Age UK Croydon were overjoyed that the classes were attended by men and women from all backgrounds.
The classes teach a whole Bollywood routine over one term, and Age UK Croydon clients were invited to perform their routing at an Apsara Arts event last month. Malti Patel of Apsara Arts said “It has been a pleasure teaching the group”. We are looking forward to working with Malti again in future and hosting more events. Apsara Arts run other events in the borough, including Bollywood film seasons at the David Lean Cinema; please keep an eye on our website and social media for updates for more news.
