Your support is not just for Christmas...

We receive many kind offers over the Christmas period, which are always greatly appreciated. These can range from useful items to volunteering to provide events and support.

One such offer came from Walker Briggs, a bar and dining room in Crystal Palace who offered to host 20 of our clients for a free Christmas meal. The clients who came along were thoroughly spoiled, and were all highly complimentary of the food, the staff and the atmosphere.

Ailish McCormack, Assistant Manager at Walker Briggs, had this to say to the positive feedback: "I'm so glad they enjoyed it! It was an absolute pleasure to host, and we had a wonderful afternoon". Pictures of the meal and restaurant can be seen here:

There are many ways to donate to Age UK Croydon, and you don't have to wait for Christmas! Donations can be made directly via our Just Giving page (see 'Please Donate' button at the top right of the page); all donations go directly to supporting our services and free events for our clients. It's also easy to donate time, skills and support, either by applying for one of our volunteer roles, or offering items, support, or hosting events as a corporate or community group - the possibilities are endless!
