The Christmas period saw a number of events at Age UK Croydon's Scratchley Hall, all of which allowed us to share our achievements, give thanks to our partners and supporters, and celebrate holiday season together:

Age UK Croydon's annual Celebration Event invited staff, clients, volunteers and our partners to share in our achievements with the Mayor of Croydon, giving everyone the opportunity to meet and mingle, and with entertainment from our 'You Too Can Sing!' choir (above, the Mayor of Croydon, Humayun Kabir, with the chair of our board of trustees, Deborah McCluskey).

Our Volunteer Party saw volunteers bonding with our Volunteer Programme team and CEO, Kate Pierpoint, over minced, pies, mulled wine and a Christmas quiz.

We held a free Christmas meal for our clients, with volunteer support from the Home Office (below), who collected donations from their office, provided the food, served clients, and even joined in the dancing.

We have exciting developments coming up in 2020, so we urge you to bookmark our news page and keep an eye on our social media, while we look forward to another year of serving the older community of Croydon.
