Food Hub closes
Published on 26 June 2020 04:10 PM
Our Food and Essentials Hub closes today, having supported around 500 individuals, some on a regular basis. Nearly 30 volunteers helped to run the Hub and deliver food bags to those shielding who did not have access to food and other essentials after lock down commenced.
We have had some wonderful feedback from clients who have been grateful for the food, and the reassurance which came from knowing they would not be without the things they needed.
We would like to thank everyone who donated, and enabled us to provide to those in need in Croydon, including:
- Croydon Voluntary Action
- Crystal Palace Football Club
- Thornton Heath Pentecostal Church
- Superdrug
- Waitrose Coulsdon
- Polish Specialities
- Hygiene Bank, Lambeth
- Members of Thornton Heath Community Action Team
plus many, many individuals from throughout the borough - we can't thank you enough.
