Job title: Deputy Re-Use Manager, Wellesbourne.

Location: Loxley Road, Wellesbourne, Warwick, CV35 9QZ

Hours per week: 19.5 hours per week over 3 days on a rota. Shift pattern will be every Saturday and Sunday (7.0 hours per day) plus one weekday ( 5.5 hours per day). 

Seasonal arrangement of hours: The start and finish times of shifts will vary in line with Warwickshire County Council Household Waste Recycling Centre opening hours.

Salary: £11,873.94 per annum (£22,530.04 FTE)

About the role:

Age UK Coventry & Warwickshire is recruiting! We have a fantastic opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join our friendly and supportive Wellesbourne team.

Our amazing Deputy Managers oversee all aspects of the business, helping to guide and support our valued team of volunteers while ensuring customers are provided with an exemplary shopping experience. If you have a passion for retail and would like to use your skills within a charity that supports older people across the Coventry & Warwickshire area, then this may be the role for you!

You will have:

· The ability to work collaboratively and consultatively with the shop team

· Ability to lift and carry bags of stock up to 15kg.

· Excellent customer services skills

· An open and adaptable approach to change and be able to support others through it

· The ability to manage time under conflicting priorities

· Able to work periods by yourself in the shop

· IT literacy and numeracy skills

Ideally you will also have:

· The ability to understand and establish successful retail processes

· Experience in a customer facing role

Additional Information

The start and end times of shifts will vary throughout the year, in line with varying HWRC opening hours.
