King Henry VIII School students send older people Christmas cards

In the lead-up to Christmas, students from King Henry VIII School in Coventry created and sent heartfelt Christmas cards to older individuals within the Age UK Coventry and Warwickshire network. Recognising that many older people experience increased loneliness and isolation during the holiday season, this collaboration provided a wonderful opportunity for both organisations to make a positive impact.
The children crafted beautiful, personalized cards with thoughtful messages, a gesture that was warmly received by the recipients. One older person expressed their gratitude, saying, "Thank you for the best Christmas card I have had this year. Not only was it lovely, it made me smile."
Age UK Coventry and Warwickshire and King Henry VIII School are excited to continue their collaboration throughout the 2025 term, building on their successful partnership.
