Chair of Trustees, Gill Entwistle, writes to all volunteers for Volunteers Week 2024

Published on 05 June 2024 01:52 PM

Age UK Coventry & Warwickshire celebrates Volunteers' Week 2024. An amazing opportunity to commemorate and thank all of those who give up their time to help others, one of the most important weeks in the Age UK Calendar. We wouldn't be able to do what we do without volunteers. Volunteers operate all aspects of the charity, including Retail, Information & Advice, Counselling, Befriending Service, Dementia Day Opportunities and the Gilbert Richards Centre.

Chair of Trustee's, Gill Entwistle, has written to all volunteers on behalf of the charity:

'I am delighted to take this opportunity to write and thank you for your ongoing generosity and commitment in your role. Your time and energy do not go unnoticed.

As a volunteer myself, I share your passion and sense of reward that these roles can bring.'
