Gilbert Richards Craft and Computer Centre Open Day 19th September.

Summer holidays are over for most of us and our thoughts are turning towards new possibilities – new interests, hobbies, people and friends, and at the Gilbert Richards Craft and Computer Centre that is our speciality. 

Age UK Coventry and Warwickshire invites people to come along to the Gilbert Richards Centre Open Day on Tuesday 19th September 2023 10am – 2pm.

Age UK Coventry and Warwickshire offer many groups throughout the week for older people at the Gilbert Richards Centre.  We offer a range of textile crafts including; sewing, knitting, crochet and spinning, art – water colours acrylics and oils, millinery, floristry and upholstery along with woodwork and pottery.  

Mick Spicer Age UK Coventry and Warwickshire’s Community Development Officer said; "The Gilbert Richards Centre in Coventry is a great place to make new friends while learning new skills or improving old ones.

We run a range of popular courses with help from our fantastic team of expert volunteers. Courses range from digital skills to woodwork, from floristry to upholstery, from painting and pottery to crafts. We also have our weekly Friday men's friendship group if you just want to hang out and chat?

Come along to our Open Day and find out more, we'd love to see you there!"
