BBC CWR on Befriending!

On Friday 8th December 2023, our Befriending Service was invited to speak over the telephone on BBC CWR Radio station and Jennifer, one of our volunteers spoke openly about her positive experiences. Jennifer expressed her gratitude for the service and explained the mutual benefits that our Befriending Service has on both the volunteers and clients, highlighting the great work that our scheme does for the community.

Our Head of Services Reece Mclarnon joined Jennifer on the phone call, using the time to explain in more detail about the service, what it has to offer and how you can get involved.

The service is always open and looking for more volunteers, whether that be face-to face or over the phone, which can even be just a 15 minute commitment per week! To get involved with our Befriending Service, you must be 18+.
