Musical Memories Club at Paintings Plantation

“Musical Memories”, live music for anyone affected by dementia including carers, family and friends, has opened at Paintings Plantation at Campion Academy, Sydenham.

This peaceful two acre woodland setting is maintained by volunteers from Age UK Coventry and Warwickshire.

Elizabeth Phillips volunteer says

“The beneficial effects music can bring to anyone with dementia are well known. Musical Memories also offers carers, family and friends the opportunity to meet others and enjoy live music in an outdoor meeting space. Just come along, we’ll be delighted to see you.”

Paintings Plantation is supported by Royal Leamington Spa Town Council, Campion Academy, Age UK Coventry and Warwickshire and local corporate businesses.
