Hot meals service

As well as our hot meals service (for people aged over 50 years) that has started in Shildon and the surrounding area we also have a similar scheme starting in early October at The Fulforth Centre in Sacriston. 

We will be working with The Fulforth Centre to deliver hot meals during the colder months to people aged 50 years plus living in Sacriston and the surrounding area.

Starting in October 2023, the project aims to support people aged 50 years and over for whom a hot meal and other support is often out of reach. 

If you are lonely and socially isolated, living with a physical or mental disability or struggling financially then this project is for you.

It’s simple, you can register yourself or if you know someone who could benefit from this service, please call us and we will do the rest. If you need a home visit to help with forms or to check your eligibility then just ask. We’re here to help!
