If you are looking to volunteer as a trustee for an inspirational organisation that puts its people at the heart of all it does, Age UK County Durham is the organisation for you! We are an independent local charity and have been working with communities throughout the County for over 45 years helping and supporting people aged 50+. We have a dedicated team of staff and volunteers helping us to deliver our services and activities.

Age UK County Durham Board members are responsible for ensuring the organisation is governed correctly and that we remain compliant with Charity Law and other internal/external guidance whilst ensuring we maintain our mission to ‘promote the wellbeing of all older people and to make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.’
