Kitchen Support Volunteers at St Austell Community Hub
We are searching for caring and passionate volunteers to join St Austell Community Hub.
The role
We arrange a delightful array of activities, clubs, and support groups for our clients, all while serving up scrumptious lunches and tasty treats straight from our kitchen.
We need some kitchen volunteers to lend a hand during the morning and lunch rush. You’ll get to chat with our lovely clients, assist our fabulous cook, and help whip up refreshments that’ll make taste buds dance.
This role is a match made in heaven for anyone who loves boosting local communities and making a real impact. To shine in this position, you’ll need to be a caring soul with a sprinkle of organisational magic and a knack for listening.

When:
Join us from 09:00 to 13:00, Tuesday to Thursday. We’re all about flexibility, so if you can spare a couple of hours or help out on a special day, we’d love to hear from you!
Additional information
Please provide any information you think will help us when recruiting for this volunteer role eg. Any skills, experience, hobbies, or training that might be useful/required.
Full training will be provided, which includes: Safeguarding, Lone Working, Data Protection, Dementia Friends Support and Digital training modules. Please note that an Enhanced DBS Certificate and suitable references are a requirement of this role (we will guide you through these processes).
