The role
In this role, you will run a fun, interesting, and interactive Craft Group weekly session. We are searching for a volunteer to lead the group, interact with clients, and offer help and support. We would like you to encourage clients to join in with activities, engage with others, and most importantly, have fun. You will also be responsible for making teas/coffees, setting up and cleaning down the Govenek Cafe after use and arranging any logistical needs of the group.
This role is perfect for someone who is outgoing and passionate about supporting local communities. To be successful in this role, you will need good listening and organisation skills, and liaise with clients and our Active Living Hub Manager.

Wednesday afternoon (13.15 to 15.15) at Govenek Active Living Hub
Additional information
Full training will be provided, which includes: Safeguarding, Lone Working, Data Protection, Dementia Friends Support and Digital training modules. Please note that an Enhanced DBS Certificate and suitable references are a requirement of this role (we will guide you through these processes).
You will be required to wear PPE at all times and be willing to undertake regular LFT and PCR testing, in line with our policies.
