Content Creator Volunteers
We are searching for a Content Creator to support people to share their stories.

The Role | Content Creator:
In this role, you will volunteer with Age UK Cornwall staff, volunteers, and the people they support, to create content for a wide range of mediums. You will link closely with our Communications Advisor (Lee Davies), and together, you will create case studies, testimonials, reports, newsfeeds and blogs. We value feedback from our clients and believe it is important that they have a place to share their stories and raise awareness of local issues.
Your content will inspire people and communities to age well in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
This role is flexible, and you can volunteer from our office in Truro or in the comfort of your own home – we can be flexible to your needs.
Personal qualities most suited to this role:
Several skills and requirements are beneficial to this volunteer role, including:
- Good literacy skills – to be able to write in a way that is clear and concise.
- IT literacy skills - MS Word, content creation and good research skills. Knowledge of MS Outlook would be an advantage (although training will be provided).
- Some local knowledge would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Great interpersonal skills to volunteer in teams when necessary.
- Able to respect and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Organised and reliable.
- Able to show initiative and volunteer unsupervised when required.
