Gateway Locality Team Leader

We are seeking experienced team leaders to apply for the role of Gateway Locality Team Leader, covering the Mid Cornwall Integrated Care Area, as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Responsible to the Senior Managers, you will manage the Community Gateway Programme for your assigned locality and support the managers of the other Gateway Locality teams. This is to enable and ensure a high-quality service to provide communities and people with a single and simple point of access to services appropriate to their needs.

As a Gateway Locality Team Leader, you will manage and develop Gateway Locality to improve the experience of people accessing support. You will ensure Gateway services are delivered effectively, organising meetings and events, and developing, implementing the delivery and work plans, ensuing they are being achieved in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.

This role would suit someone with experience of contract and partnership management and effective evidencing and reporting for contractual, and legislative, compliance. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to flex communication style to different individuals and effectively and pro-actively manage staff, supporting and coaching them. You will be confident in your computer skills, able to adapt to bespoke data management systems and online portals, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will have an understanding of, and interest in older and/or vulnerable people (adults), their situations and the opportunities they may want and/or need, demonstrating tact and diplomacy when dealing with sensitive and confidential matters, and able to think creatively to offer positive solutions.

Reports to:                Director of Charity Operations

Work Base:               Hybrid with the expectation for regular attendance to meet rest of Gateway Locality Team.

Salary:                       £27,267 pro-rata per annum

Hours of Work:         Working hours to be agreed; expectation is to meet client and business needs. There is one full time equivalent (FTE) vacancy. Job share will be considered, if appropriate (i.e. 2 x part time applicants), therefore please let us know how many hours you would like. We are required to provide cover across the full work week, which can be discussed.

Planned start date:   1st September 2024

Duration:                   Initially Fixed Term Contract to 31st March 2025
