Meadowside Nursery supports Age UK Cornwall

We are so proud to be supported by local businesses across Cornwall, and we are excited to find a valuable new partnership for our ‘Seed Cornwall’ initiative –  a remarkable horticultural business with vested interests; Meadowside Nursery, in Carnon Downs. The Nursery is locally-owned, passionate about helping people, and family run by a fantastic Mother and Son team. (Ann and Ralph, pictured below)

Not only did Father Frank grow a whole wildflower garden for our display stand at the 2023 Royal Cornwall Show, but Meadowside have agreed to repeat the exercise for the stand this year.*

On top of this, Meadowside Nursery is raising vital funds to help people in later life - handing us their first moneybox, which has raised an amazing £85 since Christmas.

‘Think it’s full of coppers’ mused Ann as she handed it over to us, ‘so don’t expect too much…’

Well, the news is that whilst the moneybox was incredibly heavy, it must have been made up of more than just coppers to reach that amount! We would like to say a huge thank you to all the customers at Meadowside – you are very special supporters, and we will see if you can top this amount as we run through the nursery’s exciting spring period.
