Age UK Cornwall & Isles of Scilly proudly announces its participation in Cornwall’s newest Christmas Market at Cornwall Gold.

The countdown has begun for this festive celebration, taking place from December 5th to 8th at the heritage attraction and jewelry showroom, Cornwall Gold. Visitors will have the opportunity to complete their Christmas shopping in a vibrant indoor market steeped in Cornish history—the only venue in the county that offers such a unique experience.

Guests can enjoy free parking for unlimited duration, allowing for a stress-free visit to this inaugural Cornwall Gold Christmas Market. Conveniently located just minutes off the A30 near Portreath, attendees can explore the interactive Tolgus Mill exhibition and the Grade II listed Tolgus Mill, alongside a colorful market showcasing a variety of Cornish products for an exceptional holiday shopping experience.

This Christmas Market is truly one of a kind, featuring nearly 30 local vendors, in addition to the exquisite pieces available in the Cornwall Gold jewelry showroom. The Pantry will delight visitors with homemade treats, including mince pies, mulled wine, and hot chocolate, complemented by a delectable Christmas menu. Treleigh School Choir will perform at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 6th, with special appearances from Father Christmas and other exciting events throughout the market.

We will also showcase our own artist, Tim Guy, whose specially produced Christmas cards transform Santa and his crew into eco-friendly characters, available in packs of eight for a suggested donation of £5 - making them some of the most competitively priced cards on the market. Additionally, our partner, Letterbox Hampers, will offer tempting hampers priced at £25, perfect for spreading holiday cheer and festive joy.

Christine Street’s rapidly selling Cornwall-inspired novel, “The Lookout Boy,” will be available at our stall, complete with signed copies. A portion of the proceeds from each sale will be donated to the charity, supporting our mission. Chris is one of our new volunteers and is excited to contribute.

Lastly, our stall will be packed with signposting advice and information that supports the local community.

From 10 am to 4 pm on December 5th to 8th, visitors to Cornwall Gold's Christmas Market can enjoy free parking, bring their dogs, and spend quality time indoors with family while exploring this significant aspect of Cornish history.
