Community Transport Infographic | April - July 2023
For anyone that doesn't know, Age UK Cornwall and TAP operates a fleet of minibuses and Electric Vehicles (EVs). Transport and remaining socially connected is an essential requirement for most people, and some of the challenges associated with living in a rural community mean that not everyone can access conventional forms of travel.
Over the last few months, we have seen demand increase and have received many more bookings for social outings, health appointments, and shopping services.
A huge thank you to our Volunteer drivers, who have been excellent and continue to go the extra mile - please check out our 1st Quarter Community Transport Infographic below to find out more.

We want to share more wonderful news... last month, we welcomed a new Electric Vehicle (EV) into our fleet. The new EV is fully accessible, slightly larger, and will be primarily located in Truro, focusing on Dementia Services, Carer Support, and Social Outings. Watch this space for future updates...
Volunteers wanted
This is a perfect opportunity to mention that we will begin searching for more Volunteer Drivers throughout Cornwall, helping us better support the increased demand for our services. So if you know someone who is looking to volunteer, even for a few hours a week, please don't hesitate to contact ann.lewis@ageukcornwall.org.uk or lee.davies@ageukcornwall.org.uk - or click on the direct link below to apply.
