Golden Social

The Golden Social is our weekly coffee afternoon held every Monday 2:15pm - 4pm at The Golden Lane Community Centre.

It's the best place to meet like-minded people, find out about trips and events, play a game of scrabble, take part in a quiz or listen to an interesting speaker. On the last Monday of every month we show a classic film.

Schedule:

Mon 25th Nov - feelgood film: The Jungle Book original 1967 Disney animation (prompt 2pm start) - sing along for all round wellbeing

Mon 2nd Dec - Charterhouse trip (fully booked) - we won't be at the centre on this date as we will be on a trip

Mon 9th Dec - poetry, mince pies and mulled wine. Bring along your favourite poem to share with the group

Mon 16th Dec - CHRISTMAS PARTY: bring a dish to share, and a gift-wrapped new or second hand book for the Christmas book exchange (optional) 

Mon 23rd Dec - Christmas film: The Holdovers (prompt 2pm start)

Mon 30th Dec - coffee, chat and Scrabble
