Art Discussion Group

Are you an art enthusiast? Our Art Discussion group is an informal online group that meets once a month on Mondays from 10:30am - 12pm on Zoom. Each member selects an artwork or artist to share with the group and we have a chat about it. New members always most welcome.

History walks

If you are a history buff you will enjoy our Ramblers Wellbeing Walks. Explore the hidden history of the capital in the capable hands of our knowledgeable walk leaders. We have monthly walks on a Saturday morning, Sunday morning and Thursday afternoon. Find out more

 

Trips and outings

We offer a wide range of trips, at least one a month. Trips must be booked with Alice on the contact details below. Most trips are completely free; where a small charge is payable this will be clearly indicated.

Most of our trips are undertaken by public transport but, for people who would find this difficult, we are often able to provide a minicab. 

Coming up in November and December:

Wellbeing November - lots of ways to support health and wellbeing, from pickle ball to massage. Find out about what's on 

Friday 8th November: Hampton Court visit, meet 10.30am at the end of the Broadwalk

Monday 2nd December: Charterhouse visit, 2-4pm  - this is a Golden Social trip so priority will be given to regular group attendees 

Wednesday 4th December: make a unique Christmas wreath with recycled fabrics at our Textile Crafts group, 2-4pm, Artizan Library

Thursday 5th December: Age UK Carol Concert, St Pauls Cathedral. Doors open 6pm. Tickets £25-55 with a £5 discount for over 60s. All proceeds go to Age UK National get tickets 

Friday 6th December: Great Mughals exhibition at the V&A Museum, 2pm onwards, meet at V&A

Monday 16th December: Age UK City of London Christmas party, 2-4pm, Golden Lane Community Centre
