Warm Hubs in City to combat the cost of living crisis

Older City residents who are chilly in their flats this winter can find a warm welcome at Golden Lane Community Centre.

Age UK City of London will be offering a lunchtime soup social on Wednesdays and Fridays in addition to our existing Golden Social coffee afternoon on a monday. People can enjoy hot drinks, biscuits, a mug of soup, a game of scrabble or dominoes, or just sit and relax with a paper or magazine. 

The hub will be open Monday 2-4, Wednesday 11-1 and Friday 11-1.

We hope to be able to provide a warm hub in the East the City from January onwards.
