Christmas Party goes off with a bang at Barts the Great

It may have been freezing outside but there was a warm welcome at St Barts the Great Church when Age UK City of London held their Christmas Party on 9th December. Corporate volunteers from TSB helped get the party going with mulled wine and musical accompaniment on the piano. Older people enjoyed the rarified atmosphere of Barts the Great and made the most of the opportunity to see some of the iconic artworks displayed around the church. Back in the cloister there was a Christmas book exchange, ensuring everyone left with a wrapped gift to open on Christmas Day, and we had fun with a bottle tombola which raised £140 for the Trussell Trust.
