Age UK City of London is delighted to announce that we have joined the Ramblers' new Walks for Wellbeing scheme - just in time for walks to restart in April.
Our health walks have always been free to anyone over 50 and we are committed to keeping them that way.
For the past eight years we have run our walks under the umbrella of Ramblers' Walking for Health.
From April onwards the Ramblers are moving to a new, membership-based model called Walks for Wellbeing. This new name reflects what we have always known: that walking with a group is a fantastic way to enhance both physical and mental wellbeing, maintain motivation, and make new friends along the way.
The importance of walking to holistic wellbeing has been especially evident over the past year and we welcome this new emphasis..
Our first walk will be scheduled for shortly after Easter. To join the mailing list please email: awestlake@ageuklondon.org.uk
We are excited to welcome you back.
