Individual volunteering

Do you have a few hours to spare each week to help us support the older people of Cheshire East?

If the answer to the above is ‘yes’, then read on!

We have a wide variety of volunteering roles available within Age UK Cheshire East, ranging from helping out in one of our 6 shops, to driving our minibus through to supporting people with dementia in our New Horizons Club.  The time you want to give us is very flexible, and you may wish to just volunteer for a few hours each week, or perhaps you want to do something a little more involved and help us for a whole day?

Whatever interests you, we would love to hear from you.  As a volunteer with Age UK Cheshire East, we are certain that you will find your time with us both rewarding, but also thoroughly enjoyable, and at the same time, you will be helping to provide really important services to local older people. In a recent survey of our volunteers, 100% said they would recommend volunteering with the charity to others.  Free training will be provided, where needed, and you will be supported in your role by a paid member of staff.
