A warm welcome from our Northwich Retail team and where we opened our very first charity shop. Visit our shop today where you will find a great range of preloved items, from clothing, shoes and accessories to books, toys and homeware as well as bric-a-brac and small items of furniture. We have a range of preloved items for sale for £1 – with fast changing stock and lots of choice, you never know what you will find! You will find our Northwich 2 shop next door, full of preloved electrical items and large furniture. Every penny spent in this shop directly funds our charity work and our services that are there to support older people across Cheshire – thank you for your support!
Donations Welcome
Our shops rely on donations. We are always happy to receive good quality, clean, reusable items to your local Age UK Cheshire shop during shop opening hours.
Don't forget - if you are a UK tax payer and you gift aid your donations, we can claim an extra 25% back at no extra cost to you. This means that for every £1 we make from selling your items, we will get an extra 25p through Gift Aid! So next time you drop off your donations, ask about Gift Aid!
A key aspect of our charity delivery is our retail service and we are always grateful for your kind donations. If you wish to donate larger goods and furniture but are unable to drop to one of our shops across Cheshire, we can come to you!
Volunteer in our Shop
Our Age UK Cheshire Shops are powered by volunteers who donate their time and skills to help us raise money.
Would you like to be part of a friendly retail team? Do you enjoy meeting and talking to different people every day? Why not join us today? You can develop your retail and people skills or give something back with your skills, experience and knowledge, all while raising crucial funds to support local older people in Cheshire. Here are just some of the activities you will be involved in:
• Contribute to a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for customers and volunteers
• Help create eye-catching window displays
• Operate the till and promote Gift Aid to donors
• Accept donations
• Prepare, steam and price donations for sale
If you are interested in volunteering with us, please visit our volunteering page for more information or email volunteering@ageukcheshire.org.uk to sign up.
