Our Personal Independence programme (PIP) is a 12 week programme, helping to improve lives by giving older people the confidence and support to maintain their independence and take control of their own health and wellbeing.
12 week programme of help - free of charge
The programme aims to provide people over the age of 55 who need support to get information about services, improve confidence, independence and safety and improve general health and wellbeing.
Tailored to your needs
A Personal Independence Co-ordinator (PIC) will visit you at home and listen to you about things you may want help with.
We could put you in touch with various groups or services and help you join or get access to them.
We could help you get equipment, adaptations and lifelines, providing support to improve your confidence and self esteem.
Who can we help?
We cover Canterbury and surrounding villages.
Your PIC worker will depend on the GP surgery you are registered with.
