Sarah Moule is a British singer who has introduced 35 songs by the jazz lyricist, the late Fran Landesman and Welsh composer, pianist and husband Simon Wallace over four critically acclaimed CDs – It’s A Nice Thought (Linn Records 2002), Something’s Gotta Give (Linn Records 2004), A Lazy Kind Of Love (Red Ram Records 2008) and Songs From The Floating World (Red Ram Records 2014). In March 2021 she releases her fifth collection of this remarkable body of work, Stormy Emotions, on 33JAZZ, which will introduce a further 10 previously unrecorded songs.
Sarah has also voiced a number of children’s book series, including Maisie Mouse and Enid Blyton. Session work includes Julian Clary’s last two UK comedy tours and the theme for his Bolds book tours.
Simon Wallace has had a varied international career as a composer, pianist, and musical director. He has performed in 26 countries and appears regularly at Ronnie Scott’s Club, The Vortex and the 606 Club in London and has played several seasons at The Cafe Carlyle and The Metropolitan Room in New York. From 1993 until her death in 2011 he wrote songs with American lyricist Fran Landesman and for over 30 years worked with the late Simon Brint composing music for some of Britain’s most popular TV shows. He has been musical director for many singers including Ian Shaw, Claire Martin and Clare Teal and in recent years Barb Jungr. He is married to Sarah.
