This week's artist is jazz saxophonist, Sam Braysher.

Sam Braysher is an east London-based jazz saxophonist who maintains a busy and varied freelance career. When leading his own bands he takes a particular interest in interpreting lesser-played items from the American Songbook and jazz cannon. His debut album, a 2017 duo recording with the New York pianist Michael Kanan, received international critical acclaim; his next record, featuring Catalan drummer and vibraphonist Jorge Rossy, is due for release later this year. Recent sideman work has included performances with ECM artist John Warren's nonet, Barry Green's sextet, Elaine Delmar and The London Jazz Orchestra. Sam graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he was a Chartered Surveyors' Prize winner and an Artist Fellow.

This set features jazz standards by Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Richard Rodgers and others.
