Art by Post

We’ve linked with the Southbank Centre for the pilot of their exciting new 'Art by Post' scheme - a fantastic project bringing regular creative activity to older people shielding at home due to the coronavirus outbreak, and importantly is accessible to those who don’t use the internet. The Southbank Centre send a creative resource pack out every two weeks to older people who have been referred to the service and consist of poetry, drawing and craft and creative writing activities. 

All artwork and poetry returned will then be curated by the Southbank Centre’s lead artist to form an installation at the Southbank Centre when the building reopens, providing a platform and a voice to a community who will have remained hidden for many months.
