Happy Silver Sunday

We celebrated Silver Sunday on Friday at our weekly 55+ meet-up kindly hosted by our friends at Assembly House in Kentish Town. Running since 2012, Silver Sunday is a day where older people can meet new people and try new activities, aiming to help tackle loneliness and isolation in our older communities. It’s also an opportunity to celebrate older people and thank them for their contribution to society.
We asked our friends who come along to share their thoughts on meet-ups like our coffee morning, watch the video below to find out!
We'd like to thank Greene King for all of the work they do through their ‘No One Alone’ initiative, which supports our work to tackle loneliness, helps people make new friends and have fun! Our members thoroughly enjoy the meet up every Friday, telling us they'd be lost without it.
However you celebrated older people this year, we hope you had a brilliant day!
