Relief Assistant Organiser

Age UK Cambridgeshire & Peterborough is an independent charitable organisation which exists to improve the quality of life for older people in the county.

Our Day Centres are social facilities providing day care service for older people within various areas of Cambridgeshire & Peterborough, which can often offer vital respite for carers.

The service aims to provide a stimulating environment and a varied programme of activities for older people. The Relief Assistant Organiser provides cover when centre staff are away from work for planned leave, or short notice leave.

The Relief Assistant Organiser works with the Organiser and Volunteers to engage with service users to deliver a variety of activities, including social interaction, cognitive stimulation, physical activity and entertainment. Refreshments are provided on both days and a hot meal is included for our service users at some centres.

Hours

Zero hours contract on an as and when needed basis.

£11:44 per hour for any time worked.
