Coronation Celebrations 

Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough had lots of different celebrations for the Coronation. Here are some of the highlights:

• Orton Day Centre Celebrations - Orton Day Centre had early coronation celebrations with decorations, music and laughter, and appeared on ITV Anglia local news. 
• Ambury Road Day Centre Celebrations - Ambury Road Day Centre had a celebration tea, games and quizzes with a royal theme.​They painted pots in red, white and blue and then planted them up. They also made decorations and paper crowns.
• Coronation Wreath Gift - One of our services users wanted to say "thank you" to kindness shown by the pupils of St Faith's School, so she handmade a coronation wreath for them.
• Coronation Concert - Employees of the Age UK Brand Partnership were given the opportunity to enter a draw to win tickets to the Coronation Concert. We were absolutely thrilled that TWO of our staff were lucky winners.
• Oasis Day Centre - received a visit from school children at Shepeau Stow & Gedney Hill School. Everyone had a wonderful time playing games, talking to each other and sharing food and drinks.
