A supportive and friendly setting where you can socialise and learn new skills

Good health is based on many factors including feeling good about yourself, being productive, contributing to your community, connecting with friends and maintaining an active body and mind.

Becoming a member of Men in Sheds provides a safe and busy environment where men and women can find many of these things in a friendly atmosphere. Most importantly, there is no pressure – people can just come and have a chat and a cuppa if that is all they’re looking for.

Shed members come from a variety of backgrounds, but we all work together and there is a role for everyone.

Watch 'Men In Sheds - A Closer Look'  and our Men In Sheds - Shed Share Scheme videos  to find out more.

How to support us

Shedders’ take on a variety of projects (latest catalogue is attached) which can be sold directly or through our local Age UK Bromsgrove, Redditch & Wyre Forest shops .  Requests are also taken for specific projects and some furniture renovation can be undertaken.  The money received for all items sold and work undertaken helps finance the project. You can also support us through our Shed Share scheme.

Donations

Donations of tools (unwanted, workshop clear-out etc.) and materials are always welcome, as are cash gifts to support the running of the project and to buy specific equipment to assist the activities.
