Thank you to The Eveson Trust!

Age UK BRWF is celebrating after being awarded a grant of £75,000 from The Eveson Trust to support the costs of the charity’s Information & Advice service for 12 months.

Speaking about the award, Age UK BRWF’s CEO Amanda Allen said,

'We are so grateful to The Eveson Trust for their very generous donation to our charity and the difference that they are helping to make. Our free Information & Advice service is core to everything that we do as a local charity. Last year the service supported over 3,700 people across North Worcestershire, helping them to receive over £1.3 million in benefits. Demand for the service continues to rise, with more and more people concerned about their finances and support needs and, whilst as charity we are trying to grow our income to support this demand by developing our Retail operations, we were faced with the very real challenge of a funding deficit for the service this year. Thanks to the support and commitment of the Eveson Trust, we can continue providing much-needed Information & Advice to the over 50s living in Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest - on behalf of everyone at the charity and all those that you are enabling us to help, thank you!'
