#TakeASeat (for Tina & Dave)

Earlier this year, two of our Retail Volunteers, Tina and Dave, very sadly passed away. Both were in their element behind the Till and were renown for the wonderful connection that they had with people coming into our charity shops (Tina at High Street, Bromsgrove and Dave at Mason Road, Redditch ).

To help tackle social isolation and to create Age Friendly Communities there is an initiative called ‘Take a Seat’ which encourages businesses to offer people a chance to take a seat and ‘catch their breath’.

To help celebrate Tina and Dave, High Street is introducing Tina’s Chair, whilst Mason Road will have Dave’s Chair - places where people can come and sit, take a few minutes and chat - something we think that they both Tina and Dave would have loved!
