Age UK BRWF Get Together & Thank You!

Thank you for all the support (including help with the Raffle, Teas & Coffees and the donations of cakes!) for our Staff and Volunteer Get Together event at Amphlett Hall on 22nd June and to all those involved with organising the event! With performances from the Got 2 Sing Choir and singer Helen Pearson, Tai Chi, Meditation and ‘Creative Art’ sessions from our tutors Steve, Adele and Natashia, stalls from Suzie at ‘Work Well Live Better’, our Tulip Tree Friendship Group, Bromsgrove Men In Shed’s and Lynne Linley to ‘Soak the CEO’ it really was fantastic to be able to get so many members of the Age UK BRWF family together!

The event was also an opportunity for us as a charity to say a very special thank you to volunteer Roger Custance (pictured above with Age UK BRWF's At Home Manager Sam Jones and CEO Amanda Allen) who is stepping down from his role as Chair of the Board of Trustees, a position that he has held since 2021 (having previously held the role of Vice Chair). Roger has played an instrumental role in guiding our mission with his insights and unique expertise. We are grateful for all his hours of hard work, and his dedication and vision have helped shaped the success of this charity. His legacy of kindness and professionalism will continue to inspire us!

Age UK BRWF’s Vice Chair, Jonathan Shapiro, has been appointed Interim Chair of the charity.
