On Friday 27th January, Age UK BRWF’s CEO, Amanda Allen attended the Cost-of-Living event held at Bromsgrove Library, one of several events being hosted by Worcestershire Libraries.
The aim of these free drop in events (which are being supported by a variety of local organisations, including Act on Energy, local Citizens Advice and Age UK partners, plus council representatives) is to provide people with information and advice to help with the rising cost of living.
It was great to see so many organisations coming together offering help and support and Age UK BRWF is looking forward to supporting the following events:
- Redditch Library – Wednesday 8th February (10am-1pm)
- Kidderminster Library – Thursday 16th February (1-4pm)
To help understand how they can improve the help, advice and support available to residents Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council have launched Cost of Living surveys. Paper copies of the surveys are available from Parkside and Redditch Town Hall but the surveys can also be completed online via the following links:

Wyre Forest District Council have also launched a ‘Cost of Living – Help and Support’ survey which can be accessed via this link
