An Announcement from the Chair of Age UK BRWF’s Board of Trustees

I am very pleased to announce, following our recent Trustee Board Meeting, that Amanda Allen has been offered and has accepted the role of Chief Executive Officer of our charity.

Amanda has been the acting CEO during a difficult time for all with the COVID-19 restrictions and the pressures it has put on us. During this period she has managed our operations and enabled us to continue to offer much needed services to our clients.

Amanda brings a wealth of experience to the role alongside natural leadership skills. There will be many challenges in the future and the Board are confident that her enthusiasm and skill will lead us to continue to provide much needed services to the older population in a changing world.

I am sure that everyone will join the Board of Trustees in wishing Amanda every success in her new role!
