Participating in activities can benefit you in a variety of ways, such as improving mental health, giving a sense of purpose and promoting positive wellbeing. We understand the importance of remaining connected with others and staying active, both of which can be achieved by taking part and getting involved. Additionally, they provide an enjoyable, social and rewarding way to stay healthy and improve your quality of life.
 
Bromley is a vibrant London borough with lots to do and explore. For those who are over 65, there are plenty of activities to keep you busy. From walking around some of the stunning parks and green spaces in the borough, such as Beckenham Place Park, to going for afternoon tea in one of the many tea shops in Bromley, there is something for everyone. You could also spend time checking out one of the historical landmarks or visiting one of the many historic sites such as Crystal Palace Park or Sydenham Woods. If you’re feeling active, why not go for a stroll along the famous South Circular road or explore some of the nearby churches, temples and museums. No matter what interests you, Bromley offers an abundance of fun and interesting things to do.

The Royal Borough of Greenwich is a wonderful place for older people to visit and explore. The area is full of history, as it was once home to the British Navy, and many historic landmarks still remain. There are a plethora of museums, parks, and activities to enjoy and explore. Take a stroll along the Greenwich pier and watch the boats and ships that come in, visit the iconic Cutty Sark, or even head over to the O2 Arena for a night of entertainment. With so much to do and see, there’s something to suit all interests. Whether you’re into theatre, music, or art, you’ll find something to enjoy. For those looking for more sedentary pursuits, the borough also hosts plenty of gentle walks and park events, as well as tea rooms and other charming locations. There is certainly something for everyone in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
