Retail Assistant – Queensbury - Part time (7 hours)

Our Community Hubs are warm welcoming spaces where people can get the information, help, support or advice they need for their situation; come in to volunteer their time or pick up a bargain in the retail section. Each of our six Community Hubs is working towards delivering a range of functions including Information, Help and Support, Advice and Casework, Community Activities and Events alongside Fundraising.  

We are currently recruiting a Retail Assistant to work as part of our team, the role will be primarily based at our Queensbury Hub and may be required to cover across the Bradford District from time to time. The usual working day will Tuesday’s, with some flexibility for holiday cover. 

The key elements of the role are providing excellent service to customers, sorting and managing donations and working with our Support Team Members. There will also be Hub opening and closing responsibilities, together with operating the till and banking. 

Retail experience is preferred, along with a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.  

Actual Salary £22,087.22 per annum, £4,178.66 Actual (Based on 7 hours) 

Possible weekend working required 

5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays pro rata
