Keighley Agricultural Show stand 2023

On Saturday 2nd September our Keighley hub team had a stall at Keighley Agricultural Show. This was the first time we have had a presence at the show and we were able to reach and connect to many older people and their families and friends who were not aware of our work. We had a tombola, outdoor items for sale and an information point at the event. 

Emma Askam, Keighley Hub Lead and Retail Assistant, said "it was a first for Age UK Bradford District to attend Keighley Agricultural Show. We raised around £250 on the day to support our work with older people with the tombola proving to be a big hit. The team enjoyed the day meeting people from the wider community and we're very much looking forward to attending again next year."
