Summer fashion show August 23

On Friday 4th August we held a summer fashion show at our Wrose Hub with volunteer models showcasing donated clothing from our summer collection.  

Each of our models wore three outfits from the themes of summer days, summer nights and summer occasions. Between each theme was the opportunity for shopping, drinks and purchasing raffle tickets. At the end of the evening, we drew our raffle winners and auctioned a couple of items including a large teddy bear. Compere for the event, Colin Williams, treated everyone to a song at the end of the evening and our New Choices volunteer Jonathan was the DJ for the night. 

Almost £800 was raised from the event which will go directly to fund our work supporting older people in the Bradford District.

“Yet another successful fashion show! It’s great to see all the volunteers and the team working together and having a good time and I’m looking forward to the next one already!”
