Silver Sunday

Age UK Bradford District is celebrating Silver Sunday which is a national day where people of all generations can come together by hosting fun and free activities for older people. It is a day where older people can meet new people, visit new places, try new activities and connect with their local communities and the generations around them. 

Age UK Bradford District has planned special events at each of their 6 Community Hubs including coffee mornings, games, and quizzes. It's also an opportunity to access information about the vital work they do and find out more about the groups and activities on offer. 

The timetable of events is as follows: 

Wrose & Windhill Hub - Wrose 

75 Wrose Road, Wrose, Shipley, Bradford, BD18 1HX 

Wednesday 2nd October  

10am - 12 Noon  

Coffee and cake plus Yorkshire quiz, reminiscence, and chat 

 

Bradford West Hub - Allerton  

338 Allerton Road, Allerton, Bradford, BD15 7BN 

Friday 4th October 

Teas/coffee 

  

Bradford South Hub -Queensbury  

22 High Street, Queensbury, BD13 2PA 

Sunday 6th October - Special opening 

10:30am - 1:30pm 

Coffee/tea/cake - pop in for a chat/info 

  

Bradford East Hub - Idle

Guess the film star game and tea and coffee

Coffee morning with an extended craft session
