March Marching

Published on 17 February 2025 11:14 AM

Age UK Bradford District is calling on the community to get moving this March with March Marching, a sponsored walking challenge designed to raise vital funds for local older people.

Participants will take on the challenge of walking 100 miles throughout the month of March, whether it's through daily strolls, weekend hikes, or stepping up their daily routine - all whilst raising money to support older people across Bradford, Shipley, Ilkley and Keighley and the rest of Bradford District.

The funds raised through March Marching will help Age UK Bradford District to continue providing essential services including information, help and support, warm spaces, expert advice and casework, and community activities and groups that keep older people connected, secure, and supported.

There are some great reasons to get involved including staying active and improving your well-being while making a difference; raising funds to help older people feel less alone and more connected. And everyone is encouraged to walk at their own pace, in their own time—every step counts!
